ne Marie and I are finally here! I realize the photos are not the best as they were taken from a moving taxi, but I swear, they are what they look like: The Lincoln Memorial and The Washington Monument. It is really, really beautiful here ... I had no idea the city was going to be this green, this pretty and really, the people are great!!I have to work the conference the next few days, but I am really looking forward to the weekend when Larry gets here, and then his sister and her family come visit. We will be able to explore some of the sites that I am seeing right this minute on the "Visit DC Channel" on TV.
